Job Summary

The Data & MIS Executive / BI Analyst will support the Group’s Business Intelligence and MIS function by gathering data, maintaining dashboards, preparing reports, and analysing both financial and operational KPIs across all Group entities. This is an execution-focused analyst role responsible for ensuring that leadership receives clean, accurate, consistent, and timely performance information.

The role involves data cleaning, preparing MIS templates, supporting dashboard creation, monitoring KPIs, identifying variances, and assisting in developing business intelligence systems. The analyst works closely with the Manager – Group Accounts, Finance & BI and supports entity-level teams in strengthening data capture and reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities

A. MIS Preparation & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering both operational and financial metrics.
• Populate MIS templates with accurate data and maintain historical trend dashboards.
• Assist in building consistent MIS formats across entities.
• Circulate MIS reports to internal teams and leadership as per defined schedules.

B. Business Intelligence & KPI Monitoring

• Track and update defined KPIs for each business unit (financial, operational, productivity-based).
• Monitor deviations and highlight anomalies or unusual patterns in metrics.
• Work with business teams to ensure correct data capture for KPIs across units.

C. Dashboarding & Data Visualisation

• Assist in creating dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Present data in clear, visual formats that help leadership understand performance quickly.
• Maintain dashboards and update them based on daily/weekly/monthly data inputs.

D. Operational & Financial Performance Analysis

• Support basic analysis of variances, trends, and performance changes.
• Help analyse operational metrics such as utilisation, productivity, occupancy, turnaround times, and other entity-level KPIs.

E. Coordination With Entity Teams & Gap Support

• Coordinate with entity-level teams (finance, operations, HR, admin) for data collection and clarification.
• Step in wherever basic data support or MIS hygiene is required.
• Help new entities or departments set up initial data capture templates.

F. Systems, Documentation & Improvements

• Maintain BI data repositories, shared folders, version controls, and documentation.
• Assist in automating repetitive MIS processes wherever feasible.
• Suggest improvements to reporting formats, data structures, and KPI tracking methods.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree required — preferred in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Computer Applications, Data Science, or related fields
• Additional courses in Excel, data analytics, or BI tools are an advantage

Work Experience

• 1–3 years in MIS, data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
• Experience handling multi-entity data is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio preferred
• Good understanding of KPI structures and performance reporting
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources
