Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented PMS Business Development Professional to drive growth, strengthen distribution relationships, and expand the reach of our Portfolio Management Services (PMS) products across assigned geographies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, strong relationship management skills, and a proven record in sales or business development within the investment management domain.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and relationship managers (RMs) to drive PMS sales.
  • Deliver on KPIs including new client acquisitions, AUM inflows, channel expansion, revenue growth, and enhanced partner engagement for sustained client retention.
  • Reactivate dormant channels and identify new business opportunities for PMS product distribution.
  • Enhance visibility and awareness of PMS offerings through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct product training sessions for RMs, distributors, and partners to improve understanding and sales effectiveness.
  • Proactively handle PMS-related queries, service issues, and feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to increase penetration, strengthen partnerships, and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations, reporting, and compliance in PMS distribution activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2–6 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in PMS, Mutual Funds, or Wealth Management.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in PMS, Mutual Funds, or Wealth Management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales tracking.
  • Understanding financial markets and investment products.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
