Job Description

Ocean Gifting is a fast-growing corporate gifting solutions company, offering customized and premium gifts for employees, clients, and channel partners.

We work with HR, Admin, and Marketing departments of reputed organizations to design impactful gifting experiences — from concept and branding to packaging and delivery.

We are now expanding our reach and looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Client Acquisition

  • Identify and connect with potential corporate clients across industries — HR Heads, Admin Managers, Marketing Managers, and Procurement Heads.
  • Generate business leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, trade portals, and referrals.
  • Present Ocean Gifting’s product portfolio and tailor gifting solutions as per client needs.
  • Create and deliver impactful sales pitches, proposals, and quotations.
  • Drive revenue growth by converting qualified leads into repeat business clients.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Manage end-to-end communication with clients — from enquiry to order delivery.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities (e.g. festival gifting, new employee onboarding kits, annual awards, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the operations team for smooth order execution and client satisfaction.

3. Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Develop monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned with company targets.
  • Maintain detailed client and lead records in CRM/Excel.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, closures, and forecasted revenue.
  • Collaborate with management for pricing, negotiation, and marketing initiatives.

4. Market & Product Insight

  • Keep a track of corporate gifting trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.
  • Suggest new product ideas and gifting concepts based on client demand.
  • Participate in exhibitions, events, or corporate networking meets to promote Ocean Gifting.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building ability with corporate decision-makers.
  • Confident in handling B2B sales cycles from lead generation to closure.
  • Highly organized with good follow-up discipline.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of branding, printing, and packaging processes (preferred).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years in B2B Sales / Corporate Gifting / Events / Printing / Promotional Products industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing corporate accounts.

Compensation

  • Fixed monthly salary (based on experience) + performance-based incentives tied to revenue & client retention.

Own Conveyance, with a valid driving License & Flexibility to Travel is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
