Our mission is to empower learning environments with innovative tools and services that drive performance and excellence. *Job Summary* We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead our expansion in the academic sector. The ideal candidate will be experienced in institutional sales, capable of networking with premium universities, and confident in setting up and leading meetings with university leadership. This role involves domestic travel and calls for a professional who thrives in relationship-building and consultative selling. *Key Responsibilities* • University Outreach & Networking: Build strong relationships with top-tier universities and educational institutions. Develop trust-based partnerships and represent Go Sharpener at key academic events. • Executive-Level Engagement: Schedule and lead meetings with university leadership, including Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Directors, to present our value proposition. • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve growth targets in the education sector. • Lead Management: Identify, pursue, and convert high-potential leads into long-term clients. • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients, attend conferences, and drive field sales. • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, customization needs, and post-sale support. • Reporting & Analytics: Track sales performance, analyze trends, and present insights to leadership for continuous improvement. *Qualifications* • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. • Upto 5-6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the education or technology sector. • Proven experience in engaging with senior leadership in universities or similar institutions. • Strong presentation and negotiation skills. • Comfortable with frequent travel and working independently in the field. • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. *Preferred Skills* • Existing network within the education sector. • Experience selling to universities or large institutions. • Ability to tailor pitches based on the needs of different academic departments or institutions. *What We Offer* • Competitive salary and attractive incentive structure. • Travel reimbursements and allowances. • Opportunities for rapid growth in a scaling organization. • A mission-driven culture focused on education, innovation, and impact.
