Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive company growth through the acquisition of new customers, development of strategic partnerships, and expansion of existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, market research, and business strategy, with a passion for identifying opportunities and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align on go-to-market strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role (4–8+ years).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot) and sales tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast sales trends, and develop actionable plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [specific industry, FMCG, pharma, food & beverage, personal care, and packaging or manufacturing industry].
  • Multilingual or experience in international business development.
  • Existing network of clients or industry contacts.
