Location: B-37/B, 3rd Floor, Jhilmil Industrial Area, Delhi
Industry: Aluminium Wire Manufacturing (Scrap-Based)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Education: Engineering background preferred (Metals, Mining, Manufacturing (Preferred)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and growth-focused Business Development Manager who can help us expand our aluminium wire manufacturing business.
The ideal candidate will understand the metals & mining sector, have experience dealing with technical industrial clients, and be confident in handling B2B sales, pricing discussions, and client relationship management.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building connections, understands market trends, and can convert opportunities into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & New Business

  • Identify, contact, and qualify potential buyers—cable manufacturers, conductor makers, OEMs, traders, and distributors.
  • Explore new regions and markets to increase brand presence and sales volume.

2. End-to-End Sales Management

  • Handle the full sales cycle: first contact → need analysis → proposal → pricing → negotiation → closure.
  • Present company capabilities and technical advantages of aluminium wire made from recycled scrap.

3. Client Relationship Building

  • Maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for queries, complaints, and support.

4. Coordination With Factory & Operations

  • Work closely with production, dispatch, and QC teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate customer specifications and follow up on order statuses.

5. Market Research & Pricing Awareness

  • Track aluminium scrap prices, LME rates, competitor pricing, and industry movements.
  • Share weekly insights with management for planning and forecasting.

6. Sales Planning & Strategy

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly sales plans and achieve revenue targets.
  • Suggest new growth areas, product improvements, and customer opportunities.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain CRM updates, sales pipeline, forecast reports, and visit logs.
  • Provide accurate MIS reporting to management.

8. Product Knowledge

  • Understand technical aspects of aluminium wire rods (conductivity, grades, diameters, applications).
  • Explain value propositions clearly to clients.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in B2B Sales/BD (preferably metals, mining, manufacturing, industrial products).
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and discuss specifications with clients.

Preferred

  • Engineering degree (Metallurgy, Mechanical, Mining, Manufacturing).
  • Experience in aluminium, copper, scrap-based manufacturing, or electrical wire/cable industry.

Soft Skills

  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
