Job Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. You will collaborate with senior leadership, sales teams, and marketing departments to implement strategies that drive revenue and market presence in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Market Research:
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to formulate targeted business strategies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and create proposals for potential clients and partners.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, developers, and brokers.
  • Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements and present customized real estate solutions.
  • Negotiate and close business deals while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets and expand the company’s market share.
  • Identify key business sectors (residential, commercial, etc.) and focus on acquiring new projects and clients within those sectors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns that align with business development goals.
  • Sales & Revenue Generation:
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive sales performance and ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.
  • Set revenue goals, monitor performance, and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling real estate services and products to existing clients.
  • Partnerships & Alliances:
  • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with developers, contractors, and industry influencers.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand the company’s reach and presence.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners and collaborators.
  • Reporting & Performance Analysis:
  • Track and report on business development performance metrics, including new clients, revenue, and market share.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of business development initiatives.
  • Review and analyze project performance to ensure objectives are being met.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead and mentor junior business development staff to ensure successful project execution and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, and operations) to align on key business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 2 years in the real estate industry.
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business, closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate markets, trends, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and real estate management tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
  • Familiarity with international real estate markets and cross-border transactions.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects or portfolios.
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks and contract management in the real estate industry.
