Job SummaryWe are looking for a Business Development Officer (BDO) who will be responsible for generating new business, selling Globe Communication’s digital communication services, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role requires strong communication skills, lead-handling capability, and a consultative sales approach.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and generate new business opportunities through calls, meetings, networking, and digital leads
Pitch and sell Globe Communication services such as:
Bulk SMS
WhatsApp Business API
Google RCS
Bulk Voice & IVR
AI Voice Bot & Automation Solutions
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable communication solutions
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Client Handling & Relationship ManagementHandle inbound and outbound leads professionally
Build long-term relationships with clients and channel partners
Conduct product demos and explain pricing, features, and compliance (DLT, WhatsApp policies, etc.)
Ensure smooth onboarding and coordinate with technical/support teams
Follow-ups & ClosuresRegular follow-ups with prospects for deal closure
Maintain sales pipeline and update CRM or internal tracking systems
Negotiate commercials within company guidelines
Market Intelligence & ReportingTrack market trends and competitor offerings
Share feedback and insights with management
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and performance updates
Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and persuasion skills (Hindi & English)
Sales-oriented mindset with result-driven approach
Ability to explain technical services in simple business language
Good negotiation and closing skills
Basic understanding of digital marketing / messaging platforms preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication
Eligibility CriteriaMinimum 6 Months –3 years experience in sales or business development
Experience in Bulk SMS, WhatsApp API, SaaS, IT services, telecom, or digital marketing is a strong advantage
Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply
