Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company's market presence. The role involves strategic planning, sales, marketing, and communication with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Market Research:

  • Identify new business opportunities in both existing and potential markets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Develop strategies to approach and engage potential clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutual benefit for both parties.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Set clear sales targets and goals, working closely with sales teams to meet or exceed them.
  • Track performance and adjust strategies as needed to ensure revenue growth.

Partnership and Networking:

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with other businesses and organizations.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to build a professional network and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies.

Proposal and Contract Management:

  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks for potential clients.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company policies and goals.
  • Work with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements and ensure smooth contract execution.

Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management.
  • Analyse sales data and adjust strategies based on performance.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Provide feedback on client needs, preferences, and feedback to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
