Job Summary:

We are seeking a Finance Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead the financial operations and deliver data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial systems, and the ability to transform financial data into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy, Planning Analysis (FPA):
- Design and execute financial strategies that align with long-term business objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and present financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Perform variance analysis between actuals and forecasts to track financial performance.
- Evaluate financial key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
Financial Reporting Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Conduct detailed profitability and cost analysis to support business strategies.
- Prepare board-level financial reports with comprehensive data visualization.
Business Analysis Decision Support:
- Perform financial impact analysis for strategic business decisions, including market expansion, capital investments, and cost controls.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and what-if scenarios to support risk assessment.
- Analyze market trends, competitor benchmarks, and economic indicators to guide executive decision-making.
- Deliver data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and drive growth.
Cash Flow Risk Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
- Identify and evaluate financial risks, recommending strategies for mitigation.
- Perform credit risk analysis and ensure effective management of receivables and payables.
- Optimize capital allocation through thorough investment analysis and ROI evaluation.
Cost Management Process Optimization:
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate projects and resource allocation.
- Identify and implement process automation to improve financial reporting accuracy.
- Perform operational analysis to drive cost efficiency across departments.
- Design and enforce internal controls to prevent financial misstatements and fraud.
Leadership Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team with a focus on analytical excellence.
- Establish best practices for financial data management and analysis.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial insights with operational strategies.
Stakeholder External Relations:
- Engage with external auditors, tax authorities, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide timely financial briefings to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

Key Skills Competencies:

Advanced Financial Analysis:
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.
Strategic Insight:
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business strategies.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and advanced Excel capabilities.
Compliance Governance:
Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (IFRS, GAAP, SOX).
Communication:
Strong ability to present data and influence decision-making at the executive level.
Problem-Solving:
Analytical mindset to diagnose issues and deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications:

B.Com, M.Com or MBA (Finance). Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are an addition.
5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FPA, and financial leadership roles.
Proven track record in data-driven financial decision-making and business intelligence.
