Role Summary

The Manager/Sr. Manager – Process Validation will be responsible for establishing, assessing, and strengthening business processes across the Renewable Energy Power vertical. The role ensures adherence to internal controls, evaluates process gaps, and drives standardization and compliance across project, commercial, procurement, and operational workflows. The position requires strong analytical, auditing, and cross-functional coordination capabilities to ensure process robustness, risk mitigation, and improvement in operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Validation & Governance

• Conduct process validation reviews across project management, procurement, commercial, finance, and O&M functions.
• Ensure all processes adhere to company policies, SOPs, internal control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process gaps, risks, and non-compliances; prepare actionable remediation plans.
• Evaluate end-to-end process flows for accuracy, control effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

2. Process Improvement & Standardization

• Support design, implementation, and improvement of SOPs, workflows, and business controls.
• Recommend and drive process standardization across project sites and corporate teams.
• Benchmark processes with industry best practices and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with functional heads to streamline processes and reduce redundancies.

3. Compliance & Audit Coordination

• Partner with internal audit, risk, and compliance teams during audits.
• Facilitate data gathering, documentation, and closure of audit findings.
• Ensure timely adherence to statutory and internal compliance obligations.

4. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse process performance metrics, identify trends, and highlight key risks.
• Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.
• Maintain audit trails, documentation, and evidence for process validations.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Project Delivery, SCM, Finance, O&M, HR, and Site teams for end-to-end process assessments.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on process adherence and compliance.
• Act as a central point of contact for process improvements across the Renewable Energy business.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of business processes across EPC/Infra, Renewable Energy, or Power sector preferred.
• Expertise in process mapping, internal controls, and SOP development.
• Good knowledge of financial processes, commercial terms, procurement cycles, and project governance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, dashboards, and analytical tools.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• CA / MBA / Engineering with MBA / Commerce Graduate

  with relevant experience.

• 7–14 years

  of experience in process validation, internal controls, audit (internal/external), process excellence, or similar roles.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, EPC, or large-scale manufacturing will be an added advantage.
