We empower manufacturers with AI-powered insights and powerful inventory dashboards to make smarter production planning, purchasing, and dispatch decisions while staying audit-ready.


Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth by identifying, engaging, and converting manufacturing companies into Zubcon customers. This role is perfect for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about transforming how manufacturers manage their inventory operations.


Key Responsibilities

i. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential manufacturing clients across various industries (automotive, tractors, EV, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to generate leads and track prospect engagement


ii. Sales & Relationship Management

  • Conduct product demonstrations showcasing Zubcon's distributed inventory management capabilities
  • Understand manufacturing pain points related to inventory visibility, production planning, and supply chain management
  • Present tailored solutions that address specific client challenges and business objectives
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining healthy profit margins


iii. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Stay updated on manufacturing industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape
  • Gather market feedback to inform product development and positioning strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials


iv. Client Success & Expansion

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain long-term relationships to drive customer retention and referrals


Required Qualifications

>> Experience & Background

  • 2-4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, manufacturing, or supply chain technology
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders


>>Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil/Hindi
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, or supply chain processes (preferred)
  • Ability to translate technical features into business value propositions

  • Experience with account-based marketing and sales strategies
