Business Development

Responsibilities

Bidding & Tender Management:

Track and monitor renewable energy tenders across multiple platforms to identify potential bidding opportunities.Prepare and organize Salient Features and NFA (Non-Functional Requirements) for tender submissions.Develop comprehensive bid decks and submission formats for selected opportunities.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather the required documentation for bid submissions.Lead the preparation of all necessary bid documents, ensuring they meet the technical and commercial requirements.Prepare progress status reports and communications with Various REIAs/DISCOMs for under-construction projects.Oversee the preparation and regular updating of Cashflow MIS and Bank Guarantee MIS to track progress and ensure timely submission.Provide support for tender-related queries and clarifications, ensuring timely resolution of issues raised by Various REIAs or DISCOMs.

Change-in-Law (CIL) Claim Submission

Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for CIL submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.Respond to queries raised by Various REIAs or DISCOMs regarding CIL claims, ensuring detailed and accurate replies.

Policy Advocacy & Regulatory Compliance

Stay updated on changes in renewable energy regulations, identifying potential impacts on projects and policy decisions.Provide insights into regulatory developments and collaborate with policy teams to shape the company’s stance on key issues.Assist in preparing advocacy documents, reports, and responses to government bodies and regulatory agencies.Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and documented for under-construction projects.Participate in seminars/workshops related to renewable energy policies and bidding practices, enhancing personal and team knowledge.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support

Work closely with the legal, commercial, and technical teams to ensure that all documentation and submissions align with organizational objectives.Provide support to project management teams by ensuring timely updates on the progress of under-construction projects and facilitating communication with Various REIAs/DISCOMs.Prepare and maintain a comprehensive database of all communications and documentation related to CIL and bidding projects.

MIS & Reporting

Prepare and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) related to CIL claims, bidding, and under-construction projects.Regularly update progress status and cash flow reports to ensure that leadership has access to accurate and up-to-date information.Ensure accurate tracking of bank guarantees and performance records for all relevant projects.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications in Renewable Energy, Public Policy, or Project Management is preferred.

Work Experience

3-5 years of experience in bidding, regulatory affairs, policy advocacy, or project management, particularly within the renewable energy sector.Proven track record of managing regulatory compliance, and bidding processes.Experience working with Various REIAs and DISCOMs on renewable energy projects and claims.Strong knowledge of bidding documentation, claim submission processes, and regulatory policies in the renewable energy sector.
