Purpose/Objective


    Associate - Strategy, Market Intelligence is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives, driving market intelligence efforts to support business growth and operational efficiency. This role involves conducting market analysis, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Strategic Planning & Execution: Assist in the development and execution of long-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and objectives. Support senior leadership in preparing strategic documents and business plans, contributing to the execution of key initiatives. Track the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring they meet expected outcomes and align with business goals. Strategy Support to Finance, Investor Relations, other teams Provide Strategy support to Finance team on transactions, interact with domestic/international financing companies on market landscape and operating environment. Business and strategy support to IR team for key meetings and presentations Policy analysis and advocacy Assist in analysis of key policies in the power sector and evaluate impact on business. Identify key opportunities for policy advocacy to improve business and support growth on new businesses Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. Monitor market dynamics, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes to provide insights on potential business opportunities and threats. Support the dissemination of market intelligence to internal stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and effective market positioning. New Business Development & Innovation: Assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, including emerging market segments and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial viability and strategic alignment of new business ventures. Provide support in exploring innovative technologies and business models to drive growth. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Help establish and track KPIs to monitor the performance of strategic initiatives and business outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing business performance metrics and recommending operational enhancements. Support the development of action plans to optimize cost efficiency and drive business performance. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Operations, Technology, and Senior Leadership, to align strategic initiatives and market intelligence efforts with business objectives. Engage with external stakeholders, including industry analysts, technology providers, and business partners, to stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies. Support the preparation of strategic reports and presentations for senior leadership, ensuring that insights and recommendations are clearly communicated. Knowledge Management & Strategic Documentation: Assist in maintaining and updating strategic documents, business plans, and market intelligence reports. Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing by capturing and disseminating best practices and lessons learned across the organization. Ensure that all strategic insights and market intelligence are easily accessible to support decision-making. Key Stakeholders - Internal: Senior Leadership, Finance, Operations, Project Teams, Technology, Legal Teams Key Stakeholders - External: Industry Partners, Technology Providers, Market Analysts, Regulatory Bodies, Competitors, Consultants

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategy, or related discipline is preferred. Work Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business strategy, market intelligence, or corporate planning, ideally within the renewable energy, technology, or related sectors. Proven track record in supporting strategic initiatives and market analysis. Strong understanding of market dynamics, emerging technologies, and digital tools with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
