Job Description

Responsibilities On-Ground Execution of Civil and Structural Work: Actively oversee the execution of foundation, road, and infrastructure construction tasks on-site, ensuring adherence to project design and technical standards. Monitor and guide construction teams and contractors daily to address technical challenges and ensure civil tasks are completed on time and to specifications. Real-Time Site Inspections And Quality Control Perform frequent site checks to verify that all civil works meet design specifications, safety regulations, and construction standards. Immediately identify and rectify material quality issues, construction errors, or structural discrepancies to maintain quality and prevent delays. On-Site Coordination With Other Teams Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and structural teams to resolve cross-functional issues during construction, ensuring seamless integration of civil works into the overall project. Regularly communicate on-site with project managers, architects, and contractors to align daily activities with project timelines and technical goals. Material Management On Site Inspect and recommend suitable materials for ongoing work, ensuring timely availability to avoid disruptions in construction schedules. Monitor material usage directly at the site, maintain accurate inventory levels, and reduce waste to keep costs in check. Compliance With Safety And Environmental Standards Conduct daily safety inspections, ensuring all activities comply with local safety codes and environmental regulations. Act quickly to address any environmental risks, such as soil erosion or water contamination, by coordinating with environmental engineers and taking immediate corrective actions. On-Site Documentation And Reporting Keep detailed records of all on-ground activities, including design updates, inspection findings, and material usage logs, ensuring readiness for audits or reviews. Provide daily or weekly progress reports to supervisors, flagging any delays, technical hurdles, or areas needing attention for improvement. Qualifications Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional certifications in construction, project management, or structural engineering (preferred). Work Experience 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering roles, especially in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or renewable energy projects.
