Job Description

As a Business Development Manager with 2-3 years of experience in online bidding and team management, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Online Bidding & Proposal Writing: - Actively bid on platforms like Upwork, Truelancer, and similar freelance portals. - Write compelling, tailored proposals aligning with client requirements and business goals. - Ensure a high proposal-to-project conversion rate through strategic communication. - Lead Generation & Client Engagement: - Identify and generate qualified leads via online channels and freelance platforms. - Engage with international clients to understand project needs, expectations, and budgets. - Conduct virtual meetings to document detailed project scopes and objectives. - Collaboration & Project Planning: - Work closely with project managers and technical leads to interpret client needs. - Assist in preparing accurate project proposals, timelines, and quotations. - Align proposed solutions with available technical resources and team capabilities. - Sales Negotiation & Deal Closure: - Lead negotiations on pricing, scope, and timelines to successfully close deals. - Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the sales cycle. - Client Retention & Upselling: - Build and maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business. - Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities such as website maintenance and digital marketing services. - Strategic Involvement & Market Analysis: - Collaborate with technical teams to identify project roles, responsibilities, and risks. - Research, analyze, and evaluate emerging trends and market opportunities for business growth. - Team Management, Building & Growth: - Lead and mentor a team of junior business development executives. - Set team targets, track performance, and implement improvements to achieve KPIs. - Identify skill gaps and provide training or support for team growth. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or IT (MBA preferred). - 2-3 years of experience in online bidding, business development, or client acquisition in the IT services domain. - Excellent command over written and spoken English communication. - Proven experience in sales negotiation, proposal writing, and client interaction. - Strong leadership, time management, and team-building skills. - Proficiency in CRM tools, project management software, and freelance platforms.
