Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Business Analyst II, you will be responsible for leveraging your 5 to 7 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within an IT organization. You will play a crucial role in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various approaches like Scrum, Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall. Your strong involvement in Agile ceremonies, proficiency in UML and BPMN, and hands-on experience with JSON and XML for integrations will be essential in driving projects through the entire SDLC lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Proven experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies - Expertise in SDLC approaches such as Scrum, Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall - Involvement in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives - Proficiency in UML and BPMN for creating and interpreting diagrams - Hands-on experience with JSON and XML for integrations - Good understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, and ability to interpret API documentation - Writing test cases, UAT scenarios, and defect triaging - Deep domain knowledge in industries like BFSI, healthcare, e-commerce - Leading and mentoring Business Analysis Trainees - Conducting gap analysis, requirements traceability, and change management - Collaboration with QA teams for user acceptance testing - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Managing multiple projects simultaneously using tools like JIRA - Advance knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana - Familiarity with collaboration and diagramming tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio - Exposure to wireframing/UI-UX tools such as Adobe XD, Figma - Knowledge of testing tools like TestRail, Zephyr, Browserstack - Awareness of DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines, release management - Understanding of version control tools like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket - Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira Service Management - Awareness of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway - Basic understanding of database architecture and tools like MySQL Workbench - Ability to push creative thinking beyond existing industry practices Qualifications Required: - 5 to 7 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within an IT organization - Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies - Expertise in SDLC approaches - Scrum, Agile, SAFe, Waterfall - Ability to design and interpret UML and BPMN diagrams - Hands-on experience with JSON and XML for integrations - Deep domain knowledge in industries like BFSI, healthcare, e-commerce - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Certifications required: CBAP, PMI-PBA - Bonus certification: PMP,
