Founder’s Office

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Long-Term Planning

  • Partner with the CEO to shape the multi-year strategy, annual operating plan, and company-wide OKRs.
  • Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and category analysis to identify new market, product, and channel opportunities.
  • Translate strategic vision into clear roadmaps with milestones, owners, and success metrics.
  • Drive progress on high-priority initiatives — ensuring alignment, timely execution, and measurable impact.
  • Support strategic communication with investors/board through data-backed insights and presentations.
  • Contribute directly to Deconstruct’s goal of scaling to

    ₹1000 Cr in revenue

    over the next four years and preparing for IPO readiness.

2. Revenue, Channels & Growth Strategy

  • Work closely with revenue, marketing, and category teams to drive growth across

    D2C, marketplaces, offline retail, B2B, and new channels

    .
  • Own cross-functional revenue reviews; identify bottlenecks and drive timely interventions.
  • Evaluate GTM strategies, pricing, assortment, and channel profitability to guide expansion.
  • Analyze customer behavior, CAC-LTV metrics, retention cohorts, funnel drop-offs, and key revenue KPIs for actionable insights.

3. Brand, Marketing & Consumer Strategy

  • Partner with brand leadership to strengthen brand positioning, storytelling, and differentiated consumer communication.
  • Enable integrated brand campaigns, influencer strategy, and digital marketing initiatives with strong ROI focus.
  • Ensure cohesive consumer experience across touchpoints—online, offline, and international markets.

4. New Product Development (NPD) & Innovation

  • Collaborate with R&D, and supply chain teams to develop and manage the forward-looking NPD roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional sync on product briefs, formulation direction, pricing strategy, cost engineering, and launch readiness.
  • Track global beauty & skincare trends to guide innovation and category expansion.
  • Improve speed-to-market and launch excellence through structured processes.

5. Expansion & New Markets (Offline + International)

  • Lead Deconstruct’s expansion into new geographies and channels—both within India and globally. This includes shaping the offline retail strategy (flagship stores, modern trade, experiential formats) and evaluating international market entry opportunities across APAC, Middle East, EU, and North America.
  • Drive end-to-end assessments on channel/market attractiveness, regulatory and operational readiness, consumer insights, competitive landscape, and commercial viability. Build scalable playbooks for launch and growth, ensuring seamless partner onboarding, compliance, customer experience, and profitability.
  • Work cross-functionally with category, brand, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure each expansion—whether offline, international, or new formats—supports Deconstruct’s long-term growth ambitions and strengthens its position as a global, science-backed skincare brand.

6. Project & Program Management

  • Lead large-scale cross-functional projects end-to-end — resource planning, timelines, dashboards, execution management.
  • Build project governance mechanisms ensuring teams deliver on time, on brief, and within budgets.
  • Oversee weekly business reviews, planning cycles, and inter-team coordination.

7. Data Analysis, Insights & Performance Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for business performance, operational efficiency, and revenue metrics.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses across sales, customer behavior, supply chain, and marketing to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Build financial models, business cases, and scenario planning for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits and validation processes.

8. Founder’s Office & Executive Support

  • Manage strategic communication, leadership routines, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, business narratives, and decision documents.
  • Anticipate needs of the Founder and proactively remove roadblocks.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion, maturity, and reliability.

9. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a bridge between the Founder’s office and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders—agencies, partners, consultants, regulatory bodies.
  • Represent Deconstruct in key meetings and industry forums when required.

10. Cost Optimization & Business Efficiency

  • Build business cases for cost-saving initiatives across supply chain, operations, marketing efficiency, and testing parameters.
  • Drive data-led decision-making to enhance margins and profitability.
  • Identify high-impact areas to improve unit economics and overall financial health.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related fields; post-graduation/MBA from a premier institution is strongly preferred.
  • 2-6 years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, category management, brand/marketing, or high-growth consumer startups.
  • Experience in FMCG, beauty, skincare, D2C, retail, or omni-channel businesses is a strong plus.
  • Proven success in cross-functional leadership, project management, and driving business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Excel/Sheets, dashboards, and data tools.
  • Prior experience working directly with Founders/CEOs is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate with ownership, speed, and precision in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator, storyteller, and influencer capable of driving alignment without authority.
