Job Summary

Honest Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end billing operations across its luxury real estate and large-scale infrastructure/PAP projects. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate billing, manage accounts receivable, streamline processes, uphold compliance standards, and lead a high-performing billing team while maintaining the company’s core values of transparency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing Operations

Oversee complete billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with project milestones.

Manage billing cycles, invoicing, and follow-ups on collections.

Handle project-wise and milestone-based billing for both luxury residential developments and PAP housing projects.

Verify work orders, BOQs, contractor invoices, measurement books (MBs), and supporting documents in coordination with site and project teams.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.

2. Accounts Receivable

Monitor and manage accounts receivable to minimize outstanding balances.

Develop and implement effective collection strategies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records with timely reconciliation.

Provide ageing reports, cashflow projections, and receivable summaries to management.

3. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including RERA, GST, and internal company policies.

Prepare and present billing MIS, analytics, and project-wise billing summaries to senior management.

Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.

Maintain transparency and integrity in all financial documentation and reporting.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate closely with project heads, site engineers, contractors, and government authorities for documentation, verification, and approvals.

Coordinate billing workflows across multiple ongoing and upcoming projects.

5. Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing executives.

Provide training, coaching, and continuous performance guidance.

Ensure adherence to timelines, internal controls, and billing KPIs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar roles.

Experience in the real estate or construction industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of milestone-based billing, contractor billing, BOQs, and measurement documentation.

Knowledge of RERA regulations, GST compliance, and real estate financial processes.

Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in billing software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
