Job Description

Primary Job Title: Bench Sales Recruiter

Industry: IT Services & Staffing — Technology consulting and global contract staffing sector.This remote role focuses on converting bench consultants into billable engagements across international markets. You will drive revenue by positioning skilled IT resources, developing client relationships, and maintaining an active sales pipeline.Role & Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and sell bench consultants: maintain an accurate bench inventory, map consultants to market demand, and create tailored outreach for rapid deployment.
  • Generate qualified leads and close placements by prospecting clients via cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and warm introductions—target US/EMEA accounts.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, prepare rate cards/quotations, and coordinate statement-of-work (SOW) or contract approvals with clients and internal legal/finance teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and Delivery teams to align candidate skillsets, ensure smooth onboarding, and reduce time-to-bill.
  • Maintain CRM (Salesforce/Zoho) with up-to-date pipeline activities, forecast placements, and deliver weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Hit and exceed revenue and placement KPIs while continuously improving outreach strategies and playbooks.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2+ years in bench sales / IT staffing / contractor placement with a proven track record of closing bench-to-bill deals.
  • Strong business development skills: cold calling, outreach campaigns, and client relationship management targeting US/EMEA markets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho or similar) and strong pipeline management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with offshore delivery models and familiarity with technology skillsets (Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data/Analytics).
  • Proven negotiation skills and understanding of commercial contracting for consulting/IT engagements.
  • Comfortable working flexible shifts to align with client time zones and a remote-first work style.
