About The Opportunity

We operate in the HR & talent-acquisition sector, delivering specialist staffing and early-career talent solutions that connect international students and OPT candidates with employers — primarily for US-facing roles and global remote positions. This is a remote India-based role focused on sourcing, evaluating, and placing OPT/STEM OPT talent while ensuring visa and work-authorization compliance.Talent Lord is a remote-first talent solutions firm partnering with startups and mid-market employers to place high-potential international candidates into full-time and contract roles.Role & Responsibilities
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for OPT/STEM OPT and international student candidates: source, screen, interview, and close candidates for US and remote roles.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline using LinkedIn Recruiter, targeted Boolean searches, university career networks, and job boards.
  • Advise candidates and hiring teams on OPT/STEM OPT timelines, F-1 work authorization constraints, and visa transition options to ensure compliant placements.
  • Manage candidate experience end-to-end: schedule interviews, prepare candidates, collect feedback, and negotiate offers to maximise acceptance rates.
  • Use and update ATS records (notes, stages, forecasting) and produce recruitment metrics to inform hiring strategy and time-to-fill improvement.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and external partners (university career centers, immigration advisors) to tailor sourcing strategies for niche technical and non-technical roles.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2+ years in talent acquisition or recruitment with demonstrable full-cycle experience; experience working with OPT/STEM OPT or international students highly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of F-1/OPT rules, timelines, and common employer sponsorship pathways, and the ability to counsel candidates and clients accurately.
  • Proven sourcing skills with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, and outreach that converts passive candidates.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management: interview scheduling, candidate coaching, and offer negotiation.
  • Comfortable with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and data-driven recruiting (KPIs, pipeline reports).

Preferred

  • Experience placing early-career technical roles (software, data, cloud) or campus recruiting experience.
  • Familiarity with US employer hiring practices and remote-first hiring dynamics; previous agency or RPO experience is a plus.
