Position: OPT Recruiter – Engineering Experience: 1+ Years Location: [Banglore] Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented OPT Recruiter with at least 1 year of experience in engineering recruitment . The ideal candidate will specialize in sourcing and onboarding OPT/CPT candidates for engineering roles across Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software, and related domains. Key Responsibilities: Source and engage OPT/CPT Engineering candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, university networks, and other channels. Screen candidates for engineering skillsets, communication, and role fit. Explain available job opportunities, training programs (if applicable), and career paths in the engineering domain. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers/clients. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of engineering consultants. Maintain timely follow-ups and ensure smooth onboarding until placement. Update candidate information and progress in ATS/CRM tools. Build relationships with universities, student groups, and engineering communities. Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and ethical standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any field (Engineering background is a plus). 1+ years of experience in OPT/CPT recruitment or US staffing with focus on engineering roles. Strong understanding of engineering job requirements and terminologies. Knowledge of US visa categories (OPT, CPT, H1B, GC, etc.). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Experience using job boards like Dice, Monster, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. Preferred Skills: Experience in recruiting for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software Engineering roles. Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously. Strong relationship-building skills with candidates and university groups. Proactive attitude with strong follow-up and documentation skills.
