This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to top management and requires a strong commercial acumen, hands-on execution ability, and the maturity to engage with senior stakeholders across healthcare institutions, government departments, and procurement agencies.
Sales & Business Development
• Drive institutional and B2B sales across hospitals, diagnostic centres, healthcare facilities, government bodies, and NGOs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within institutional, corporate, and public sector segments.
• Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through structured planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare and deliver competitive proposals, quotations, and presentations to institutional clients.
• Actively participate in tender processes and manage government procurement documentation.
Channel & Distribution Management
• Build, manage, and optimize distribution channels across India — including B2B, B2C, and government tender segments.
• Strengthen and expand the dealer and distributor network for maximum market penetration and revenue growth.
• Design channel incentive programs to drive performance and profitability.
• Oversee inventory, supply chain coordination, and logistics in collaboration with internal teams and channel partners.
Relationship Management
• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key institutional clients and government stakeholders.
• Act as the primary interface for strategic accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular client visits, training programs, and product demonstrations to promote new product lines and reinforce trust.
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Develop region-wise and sector-specific sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and policy developments in the healthcare equipment sector.
• Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline reports, and business intelligence to management.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance teams to align sales efforts with brand and operational goals.
• Demonstrated experience in government tenders, hospital procurement, and large institutional sales cycles.
• Proven track record of setting up and managing pan-India dealer or distribution networks.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; capable of motivating and mentoring regional sales managers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Should possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and regulatory frameworks in the healthcare sector.
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Sales Management or Healthcare Business will be an advantage.
