This role requires flexibility to work non‑standard hours, as the Portfolio Revenue Manager will be supporting hotels across the Australia and New Zealand market
Role Purpose
The Portfolio Revenue Manager (PRM) leads revenue management strategy and execution for an assigned portfolio of hotels. The role leverages data‑driven insights, IHG Revenue ways of working, and tactical commercial support to optimize performance across pricing, demand analysis, segmentation, yield optimization, and selling strategies. The PRM also provides direct support to Company Managed Hotels (CMH) and contributes to broader regional and brand performance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Revenue Leadership
- Act as the direct revenue leader for 2–6 hotels, conducting daily, weekly, or monthly revenue calls depending on service level.
- Maintain advanced expertise in IHG revenue systems, tools, and processes for both personal use and for guiding direct reports.
- Stay current on hotel industry trends and translate insights into revenue improvement opportunities.
- Strategy & Performance Management
- Develop, implement, and analyze revenue strategies across pricing, demand forecasting, selling tactics, and business mix optimization.
- Lead strategic and tactical programs that enhance revenue management capability and competitive performance.
- Provide hotel performance insights and forward‑looking commercial intelligence to commercial teams.
- Support annual budgeting and long‑range planning through analytics and performance evaluation.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with RSPD and Senior PRMs to improve performance and share best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across data, tools, reporting, and business processes.
- Attend portfolio reviews and support NHOP (New Hotel Opening) setup directly or via team members.
- Provide direction to area‑managed hotels not yet in the program when needed.
- Training, Talent & Culture
- Support talent development across IHG Revenue (RMH), including coaching and growth support for revenue team members.
- Ensure effective rollout and adoption of new tools, systems, and revenue programs.
- Promote IHG’s Winning Ways & Growth Behaviors (Move Fast, Think Return, Talk Straight, Build One Team).
- Uphold the RMH function as the preferred business partner for revenue performance support.

Required Education & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent mix of education and experience.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue management, financial/strategic planning, or pricing.
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles, pricing concepts, yield optimization, and hotel selling strategies.
- Proven track record of analytical decision‑making and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience in hotel industry preferred.
