About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Life Science Commercial Data Analytics to lead our data analytics initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative data-driven strategies to optimize commercial performance across the entire LS product lifecycle. You will leverage advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and drive key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the commercial data analytics strategy and solution development for our customers, aligning with the overall business objectives. Manage analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions and algorithms, including predictive modelling across the customer engagement value chain. Lead a team of analysts, providing guidance and mentorship. Ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively. Develop and maintain a robust data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and accessibility. Utilize statistical techniques such as regression analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelling to derive insights from complex datasets. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and technology, identifying new opportunities to leverage data to improve business performance. Qualifications Bachelors or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics or mathematics. 8+ years of experience in a data-driven role, with a strong understanding of the life sciences and bio-pharma industry. Comfortable with commercial dataset: Sales data from Iqvia, Symphony, Komodo, etc., CRM data from Veeva, OCE, etc. Proven experience leading and managing high-performing analytics teams of 10-20, delivering projects across commercial analytics (Product Launch, Segmentation, Brand Management, Salesforce optimization, Reporting and Dashboards, etc.). Strong understanding of data warehousing, data mining, and data visualization tools. Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelling. Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python; familiarity with SQL for database management; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc., understanding of statistical modelling techniques. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech industry regulations and compliance requirements like HIPAA, CCPA, SOC, etc. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Attention to details, biased for quality and client centricity. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
