About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Associate Consultant to join our Advanced Analytics & Insights team. In this role, you will be a key contributor, creating and driving impactful analytics solutions that optimize commercial performance for our life sciences clients. You will leverage your strong analytical mindset and skills to deliver actionable insights, solve complex business problems, and apply advanced analytical techniques, including modeling and simulation, to inform key business decisions and drive positive commercial outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior team members. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Needs Assessment: Collaborate closely with clients and internal team to understand client business problems and translate them into specific analytical questions. Develop tailored research plans and analytical approaches to address these needs effectively. Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Apply advanced statistical modeling techniques to analyze data and uncover actionable insights that drive client decision-making. Design and implement custom analyses and models using a variety of tools, including Python, R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic, and Excel. Solution Development & Implementation: Design and lead the development of complex analytics solutions, including machine learning and predictive modeling engagements. Ensure seamless implementation of these solutions to achieve client objectives. Communication & Presentation: Effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams through clear and concise presentations and reports. Project Management & Client Relationship Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on analytics matters. Mentorship & Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to internal strategic initiatives, such as capability development and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering). A strong record of academic success in relevant coursework is required. Experience: 2-4 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R). Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Visual Basic). Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Advanced Excel skills. Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling. Personal Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Client service orientation. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be flexible to upskill and grow in a startup. Self-motivated and results-oriented.
