Assistant Vice President, Data Analytics
In This Role, You Will
- Supporting Data Quality Remediation for the Group Functions.
- Ensure right level of information is captured in the Group Issue Management Tool, conduct initial Root Cause Analysis, handle Impact assessment analysis and progress the issue towards remediation.
- To work on wider data models and data policies across finance value streams.
- Will be supporting wider Finance data related initiatives, including resolution of upstream data initiatives, investigation and prioritization of data issues, liaising with IT / Design teams to support delivery of data sourcing changes / data quality related changes.
- Role holder will be exposed to data design / data modelling and would be helping the Data lead and other Senior Data Analyst – SMEs to drive requirements and sourcing closure.
- Support the internal and external audit where required. Ensure the relevant controls are met. Also, support Design, testing etc. to deliver targeted data product/model.
- Perform Change impact assessment and support Change & Implementation (C&I)
To Be Successful, You Will
- Postgraduate/Graduate with 7-14 years of experience
- Experience working in Finance, with a solid understanding of banking finance concepts including Treasury, Financial reporting and/Regulatory reporting including Liquidity Reporting and Risk Weight Assets
- Exposure to Data domain is mandatory. Exposure to Data Validation, Data Remediation, Data sourcing and resolving data quality issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project) and fluent in handling JIRA / Quality Centre (QC) and other defect management tools.
- A self-starter with excellent written/verbal communication skills with a desire and commitment to transform.
- Knowledge of working in Google Cloud Platform, Bigdata etc. Proficient or expert level skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with using project/collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence.
- Technical skills in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS will be advantageous. Exposure / Experience to data visualization tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau.
