Material Planning & Inventory Management
Monitor and manage RM & PM stocks in line with production plansMaintain optimum inventory levels – avoid stock-out & excess stockCoordinate with Purchase team for timely procurementEnsure FIFO / FEFO and proper storage practicesDaily stock reconciliation & reportingWarehouse & Handling OperationsEnsure proper receiving, inspecting, storing & issuing of RM/PMMaintain storage hygiene and shelf-life monitoringManage loading/unloading and material stackingEnsure proper material labelling and traceabilityCoordination & CommunicationCoordinate with production, QA/QC, procurement and logistics teamsPlan daily material issuance based on production scheduleLiaise with suppliers for delivery follow-ups (if required)Compliance & DocumentationMaintain GRN, issue slips, stock ledgers, ERP/MRP entriesConduct monthly physical stock audit & variance analysisComply with GMP, ISO, Food Safety, 5S & safety policiesQuality & SafetyEnsure RM/PM received meets quality specs & quarantine processEnsure adherence to safety norms during material handlingReport quality issues to QA & ensure CAPA follow-up---Key Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of supply chain, warehousing & store managementFamiliarity with ERP/SAP/Tally or inventory softwareUnderstanding of GMP, ISO & statutory normsStrong coordination & communication skillsAnalytical & problem-solving ability---QualificationsGraduate/ Diploma in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Commerce or relevant field3–8 years experience in RM/PM store management (FMCG/Manufacturing preferred)---Performance Metrics (KPIs)Inventory accuracy & stock varianceZero stock-out incidents for critical materialsCompliance with FIFO/FEFO & documentationSpace utilization & warehouse efficiencyAudit & quality compliance---Additional RequirementsKnowledge of material handling equipment (MHE)Experience in vendor coordination & GRN systemBasic computer proficiency (MS Excel, ERP)
