Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Sales Manager - HoReCa, located in Ahmedabad. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in the HoReCa (Hotel/Restaurant/Caf) sector. Day-to-day tasks will include managing and developing the sales team, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities. The role also involves setting sales targets, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with the marketing team to develop strategies for product promotion. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Client Management & Business Development: Strategically manage and grow the B2B client portfolio within the HORECA sector. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to maintain and enhance client relationships. Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term clients. Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets by increasing the revenue per client and expanding the client base. Proactively upsell and cross-sell products to existing clients, maximizing the sales potential. Monitor revenue growth for top customers, segmented by clusters. Credit Control & Payment Management: Implement and maintain a robust credit control process across the assigned territory. Ensure timely account reconciliation, follow-up on outstanding payments, and minimize revenue leakages. Customer Satisfaction: Address client concerns, resolve complaints, and ensure client satisfaction, aiming for customer delight. Maintain high service quality standards to foster strong client relationships. Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to provide relevant feedback to the product team. Regularly update the management on market dynamics and client requirements. Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to all business rules, HR policies, and guidelines issued by the Head Office. Prepare and present regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics to the management. Basic Qualifications: Any Graduate; MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Hotel Management preferred. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in HORECA sales within the FMCG/Food/Spices industry. Proven track record of managing and expanding a large B2B client base. Skills & Competencies Required: Highly motivated, with a strong, pleasing personality. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to generate innovative solutions. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, email, and phone). Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in negotiation, presentation, and relationship management.
