Role Description

Position: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Role Overview

Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities

1. Banking & Trade Finance

• Manage day-to-day banking operations including payments, receipts, fund transfers, and cash flow.
• Handle

  export & import transactions

  :
• Documentation for LC (Letter of Credit), bank guarantees, packing credit, and bill discounting.
• Ensure timely realization of export proceeds and monitoring of outstanding bills.
• Coordinate with banks for forex rates, forward contracts, and hedging.
• Filing of 15CA/CB for import payments .
• Monitor and optimize working capital, OD/CC limits, and term loans.

2. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with

  Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, Customs, and RBI regulations

  .
• File returns and reports within statutory timelines (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, RBI filings, etc.).
• Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain proper records for export incentives, duty drawback, and other government benefits.

3. Accounts & Reporting

• Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements as per statutory requirements.
• Prepare MIS reports on banking, forex exposure, and cash flow positions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, trade receivables, and payables regularly.
• Ensure accurate accounting of export/import transactions, foreign currency transactions, and related charges.

4. Coordination & Support

• Liaise with auditors, consultants, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Support management with financial analysis for decision-making.
• Train and guide junior team members in banking and compliance processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualification:

  B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.

• Experience:

  5–8 years of experience in accounts & finance, with strong exposure to

  banking and trade finance

  .

• Skills & Knowledge:

• Sound knowledge of

  export/import documentation and forex regulations

  .
• Well-versed with

  GST, TDS, Income Tax, FEMA, RBI compliances

  .
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Hands-on with ERP/Accounting software (SAPB1 /Tally) and MS Excel.
