Role Description Job Description: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance Position: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance Location: [ Ahmedabad ] Reports To: AGM – Finance & Accounts Role Overview The Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day banking operations, handling export & import transactions, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting overall financial control of the organization. The role requires strong knowledge of banking documentation, trade finance, foreign exchange regulations, and compliance under applicable laws. Key Responsibilities 1. Banking & Trade Finance Manage day-to-day banking operations including payments, receipts, fund transfers, and cash flow. Handle export & import transactions : Documentation for LC (Letter of Credit), bank guarantees, packing credit, and bill discounting. Ensure timely realization of export proceeds and monitoring of outstanding bills. Coordinate with banks for forex rates, forward contracts, and hedging. Filing of 15CA/CB for import payments . Monitor and optimize working capital, OD/CC limits, and term loans. 2. Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, Customs, and RBI regulations . File returns and reports within statutory timelines (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, RBI filings, etc.). Support statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required documentation. Maintain proper records for export incentives, duty drawback, and other government benefits. 3. Accounts & Reporting Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements as per statutory requirements. Prepare MIS reports on banking, forex exposure, and cash flow positions. Reconcile bank accounts, trade receivables, and payables regularly. Ensure accurate accounting of export/import transactions, foreign currency transactions, and related charges. 4. Coordination & Support Liaise with auditors, consultants, bankers, and regulatory authorities. Support management with financial analysis for decision-making. Train and guide junior team members in banking and compliance processes. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred. Experience: 5–8 years of experience in accounts & finance, with strong exposure to banking and trade finance . Skills & Knowledge: Sound knowledge of export/import documentation and forex regulations . Well-versed with GST, TDS, Income Tax, FEMA, RBI compliances .
