Assistant Manager - Deloitte USI – Industry & Client portfolio Management (I&CPM) – NSE-Win/Loss program
The I&CPM closely works with the industry Client Portfolio Management leads from NSE to ensure day to day delivery of our strategic client programmes is consistently and accurately delivered. The team collaborates with the industry CPM leads and the industry Business Partners to ensure all client related aspects of our C&I strategy are supported and delivered.The three key pillars of the CPM team role are to:
- Enable and inform the prioritisation of our Firm’sresources
- Help build and inform the best teams to serve ourclients
- Accelerate and enhance client conversations
thereby playing a critical role in supporting the activities and client interactions of our key client service teams, whilst supporting the industry leaders, their executive teams and the industry Clients & Industries teams in executing their client strategies and activities.
NSE Win/Loss Programme
As a Win/Loss Programme Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of our sales performance analysis, driving continuous improvement by turning win/loss data into actionable insights. You'll own the entire win/loss debrief process, from managing the tracker spreadsheet and scheduling meetings, to capturing key takeaways and developing insightful reports. Your analysis will identify trends and pinpoint areas for improvement in our sales strategies, directly influencing how we approach future opportunities. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our win/loss data, ensuring accurate input and analysis within our backend systems. This role is crucial for optimizing our sales performance and contributing to Deloitte's overall success.
Work you’ll do
The key job responsibilities include the following:
Strategy, Reporting and Planning
- Support sales success across Deloitte NSE as a Win/Loss Programme
- Run the win/loss debrief process, turning client insights into actionable strategies. You'll collaborate with sales teams, analyze data using cutting-edge resources (including our CRM tools), and directly impact Deloitte's growth
- Extend ongoing support to business strategy initiative around business development, knowledge management, quality, process improvement etc
- Assisting with the geographic consolidation and analysis of data around opportunities and revenues
- Updating and ensuring industry overview decks and strategy decks are up-to-date
- Support the development of leadership presentations, sector overview decks, growth platform/solution area overviews etc.
Client Programme Management
- Data manipulation/analysis to help support execution and monitoring of client programmes and associated activities
- Assistance with client portfolio management activity, including assistance with communications, liaising with client teams on activity updates, helping support good client programme governance
Team Management
- Promote best practices and share knowledge among stakeholders both onshore and offshore
- Ensure all production is done in compliant with the process guidelines and client specific guidelines
- Coordinate with team members (if required by project) and ensure superior product quality and completion of ongoing projects within stipulated timelines
- Ensure data confidentiality, integrity and protection of company's intellectual property

Qualifications
Required:
- Master's (PGDM) and MBAs from Tier II B-school
- 6-9 years of experience in business research or market research
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills are expected
- Strong business development capability with proven track record
- Strong understanding of business research methodologies
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
- Proficiency in navigating CRM systems
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to plan individual market research projects and take ownership of deliverables
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Master proficiency in MS applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Able to work effectively with stakeholders in a matrix and multi-cultural organization
- Help develop key intelligence questions and design a research approach and story board using industry specific methodologies to address these questions
- Experience of working with brand guidelines and templates
- Be organized and structured in the completion of tasks
Preferred:
- Familiarity with sales improvement frameworks
- Experience working with Win/Loss Programs
- Basic understanding around gathering of strategic market intelligence, regular market monitoring, company and competitor intelligence
- Understanding of business research methodologies and research databases such as Factiva, OneSource, Bloomberg etc.
- Flair for creative problem solving, flexibility to manage multiple projects, and prioritization
- Knowledge and working experience in other analysis tools like MS Access, MS Excel (macros), Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python or any Gen AI tools to generate meaningful insights
