Job Summary


The Assistant Manager – HR supports the HR Manager in the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient HR processes and compliance with company policies. This role involves recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR data management, and coordination of Annual Sales training and development initiatives.


Responsibilities


1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes (screening, scheduling interviews, conducting initial HR rounds).
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
  • Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics.


2. Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Support in handling disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote employee engagement programs and initiatives.


3. Performance Management

  • Help implement performance appraisal systems and KPIs.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles and ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in identifying high-performers and training needs.


4. HR Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company HR policies.
  • Assist in policy formulation and communication across the organization.
  • Maintain complete and accurate employee records.


5. HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination.
  • Maintain HR reports, HRMS updates, and documentation.
  • Assist in HR audits and compliance activities.


6. Organizational Development

  • Support cultural development, diversity, and change-management initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic HR planning and improvement projects.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
