Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Team Member – People Operations (ELCM) is the first point of contact for all employee lifecycle-related queries and execution support across onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, leave administration, and payroll inputs. The role is responsible for maintaining data accuracy, handling documentation, coordinating with relevant teams, and ensuring timely service delivery. The incumbent supports the People Ops Manager and Tower Lead in enabling seamless lifecycle operations within the GCC framework.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Strategic Planning & Employee Relations: Act as the SPOC for handling employee lifecycle queries raised by business HRs or internal teams. Log, track, and resolve requests related to onboarding, movements, leave, and offboarding. Maintain updated lifecycle documentation, records, and tracker hygiene. Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the People Ops Manager or Tower Lead with relevant details. Offboarding, EOS & Employee Assignment: Execute checklists and formalities for exit processes, including document collection and data entry. Share EOS inputs with payroll/compliance teams as per defined formats and timelines. Support accurate processing of employee assignment updates (transfers, redeployment, job changes). Ensure completeness and storage of offboarding and EOS documentation. Leave Administration: Respond to basic leave queries from business HRs and employees. Update leave records in coordination with HR systems or digital teams. Support validation of LOP and long-leave cases before payroll processing. Maintain leave trackers and follow up on escalated leave cases. Payroll & Benefits (Support & Inputs): Provide timely and accurate lifecycle inputs (e.g., joiner data, exit data, changes) to payroll. Coordinate with payroll teams for any lifecycle-related data clarifications. Support processing of benefit triggers like insurance start/end dates. Conduct basic reconciliation of lifecycle-related payroll inputs. Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring lifecycle queries or pain points and share suggestions for improvement. Contribute to updating lifecycle SOPs, FAQs, and communication templates. Participate in team reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and testing of new tools or workflows. Help digitize and simplify manual processes in coordination with the team. Internal Stakeholders: Cluster / Business HR Teams GCC Payroll, Compliance, Legal, and Digital Teams Service Delivery and PEA Leadership Teams External Stakeholders: HR Tech Vendors (HRMS, leave management systems) Compliance Advisors / Auditors (for offboarding or EOS documentation)

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline Work Experience: 2-5 years in HR operations or shared services, with leadership experience in employee lifecycle domains Demonstrated experience in process governance, query management, stakeholder engagement, and digital HR enablement
