Janani Family Care (JFC) is a company with a base in Delhi that specializes in family planning. JFC is a subsidiary of DKT International, Washington DC. JFC provides high quality family planning and services across 20 states in India. JFC’s mission is to increase access to contraception and other family planning products by leveraging existing public and private sector channels. We achieve this through building brands, a rigorous approach to sales and marketing with a constant focus on process and cost-efficiencies in line with market demands and feedback. JFC uses commercial sales and marketing techniques to achieve a social benefit.    

To oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and support strategic financial planning. The Senior Finance Officer plays a key role in budgeting, cash flow management, and implementing sound financial controls in a small trading environment.

·      Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.

·      Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.

·      Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.

·      Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

·      Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

·      Monitor actual performance vs. budget, investigate variances, and report to management.

·      Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.

·      Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

·      Maintain compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations.

·      Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and fund planning to meet operational needs.

·      Monitor working capital and optimize usage of funds.

·      Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

·      Identify areas for automation and improved efficiency in financial processes.

·      Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.

·      Assist in pricing, cost control, and commercial negotiations where required.

·      Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Master’s preferred).

·      CA, ICMA or equivalent professional qualification is desired

·      Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience or 8-10 years of experience with CA-Inter, preferably in a trading or distribution setup.

·      Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Indian tax laws.

·      Hands-on experience with accounting software preferably SAP or any other software

·      Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

·      High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational ability.

·      Proficient in MS Excel and financial modeling.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
