Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the business to identify data sources from legacy systems and mapping SAP fields with Legacy System Source Fields. - Performing data extraction, transformation, construction, and loading using SAP Business Objects Data Services. - Designing complex SAP Data Services job flows for extracting/loading data to SAP systems and other databases. - Creating load programs in BODS for loading different data objects. - Utilizing knowledge/experience on RDM/RDS (Rapid Data Migration) and working with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs. - Developing and executing advanced data profiling and data validation scenarios. - Configuring DS components including job server, repositories, and service designers. - Reconciling loaded data with Legacy System and analyzing business situations. - Having good knowledge of Oracle/SQL queries and working independently. - Being flexible to work in different shifts as per project needs and dealing with customers directly for requirements gathering. Additionally, you will need to work with mapping documents and load templates for data loads, have a good understanding of SAP modules and related data, document load programs and transformation rules, and provide status updates on data migration tasks. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to write technical specifications for load programs are essential. Excel knowledge and debugging skills for existing IDOC/BAPI are also required.
