The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in Appian BPM application developmentMust have excellent knowledge of core Appian concepts, records, interfaces, process models, deployments using pipeline, integrations, Web API'sKnowledge of Appian architecture and its best practicesParticipate in analysis, design, and new development of Appian based applicationsProvide technical leadership to Appian Teams and cross functional teamsProvide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements and consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOsExhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles and assist with training activities and mentor junior team membersMust be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and ability to resolve problems faced by teamBuild applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.Perform Analysis, Designing process models, Records, Reports, SAIL, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services and web servicesExperience working with different Appian Object types, query rules, constant rules and expression rulesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Participate in Production Deployments, Process improvements and delivery planningQualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience in Implementing IT solutions using BPM or integration technologiesAt least 3 years of experience in Implementing BPM solutions using Appian 19.x or higherCertification Mandatory- L1 and L2Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment will be a plusExperience in Scrum/Agile methodologies with Enterprise level application development projectsProficient in writing SQL and have good understanding of database conceptsComprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practicesGood leadership skills and the ability to lead a team of software engineers technicallyAbility to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teamsAbility to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeAbility to work with tight deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations with changing requirementConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation:
