This role will monitor performance metrics, investigate violations, and partner across departments to uphold account integrity and drive business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Account Health Monitoring & Response

  • Continuously monitor Amazon account health metrics—such as Order Defect Rate, Policy Violations, and Performance Notifications—and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as the primary responder for policy alerts and compliance warnings, monitoring these daily to prevent escalations.

Compliance & Violations Management

  • Investigate policy violations, listing removals, gated-category issues, and content or trademark infractions.
  • Prepare and submit Plans of Action (POAs), appeal documents, and documentation to Amazon support to resolve problems effectively.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with catalogue, legal, marketing, and logistics teams to gather required documentation (e.g., product certifications, invoices) for compliance submissions.
  • Work with brand teams to perform listing audits across marketplaces and categories, mitigating risk by proactively identifying potential compliance issues.

Audits & Root-Cause Analysis

  • Conduct regular audits of listings, catalogue content, regulated category items, and keyword usage to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Identify root causes of recurring violations and recommend process improvements or enhanced SOPs.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain tracking reports and dashboards highlighting health metrics, case resolution times, and compliance trends
  • Share weekly performance summaries with senior leadership, along with recommendations to maintain health standards.

Policy & Marketplace Intelligence

  • Stay up to date with Amazon policy changes and regulatory compliance requirements across product categories and operating regions.
  • Share policy updates and training materials with internal teams to prevent non-compliance.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 2+ years of experience managing Amazon account health, compliance, or performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s policy ecosystem (Seller/Vendor/Brand Registry), with proven success in resolving performance alerts.
  • Experience drafting strong POAs and conducting appeals to Amazon Seller/Vendor Central.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with internal teams and Amazon support clearly and persuasively.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and comfort handling multiple compliance tasks simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with regulated product categories and experience working with external regulatory authorities (e.g., FDA, CPSC).
  • Experience auditing listings across platforms (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, etc.) and enforcing MAP/MSRP policies.
  • Background in e-commerce operations, catalogue management, or brand protection.
