Position OverviewThe AI Assurance & Governance Specialist will be responsible for evaluating, testing, auditing, and certifying Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems to ensure compliance with quality, safety, ethical, and regulatory requirements.The role supports clients and internal teams in developing trustworthy and compliant AI solutions, aligned with global standards, regulatory frameworks, and the TICC industry model. The specialist will work across AI governance, maturity assessment, AI management systems, regulatory compliance, AI trust frameworks, and digital trust enablement, serving both public and private sector clients.Key Responsibilities
- AI Governance & Management Systems
- Evaluate and audit AI governance frameworks within organizations.
- Assess roles, responsibilities, accountability, and oversight mechanisms for AI systems.
- Support implementation of governance models aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 and ethical AI principles.
- Assess AI Management Systems (AIMS) for compliance with ISO/IEC 42001, and integration with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
- Assist clients in developing AI policies, procedures, controls, and documentation.
- AI Maturity Assessment & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct AI maturity assessments to evaluate organizational readiness, risk posture, and control effectiveness.
- Identify gaps and prepare improvement roadmaps toward higher maturity and compliance levels.
- Provide structured recommendations for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- AI Risk, Testing & Technical Assurance
- Review and test AI governance tools and monitoring technologies for:

- Recommend best-fit AI assurance and governance technologies.
- Conduct testing and validation of AI-embedded products and software for safety, reliability, and ethical compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance & Public Sector Engagement
- Ensure compliance with emerging AI regulations and frameworks, including:

OECD AI PrinciplesNIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF)GDPR (AI-related aspects)
- Conduct regulatory readiness assessments and compliance audits.
- Support government and public sector clients in establishing frameworks for responsible AI adoption.
- Participate in national and sector-level initiatives related to AI assurance, certification, and policy alignment.
- AI Certification & Trust Frameworks
- Collaborate with product certification teams to integrate AI assurance within traditional conformity assessments.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of AI Trust Mark / Trust Label certification schemes.
- Perform conformity evaluations leading to the issuance of trust labels for compliant AI systems.
- Digital Trust & Integrated Assurance
- Support broader digital trust initiatives, including:
- Cybersecurity
- Data protection
- Digital identity validation
- Participate in integrated assurance programs covering AI, IoT, and digital ecosystems.
- Research, Innovation & Capability Building
- Contribute to research, standardization, and innovation projects in AI assurance.
- Support development of new digital assurance services and internal process automation.
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and webinars on AI governance, ethics, and compliance.
- Support internal capability building for AI assurance professionals.
- Ecosystem & Partnerships
- Support the establishment and operation of an AI Trust Hub for knowledge sharing and client engagement.
- Facilitate partnerships with academia, regulators, technology providers, and industry bodies to strengthen the AI assurance ecosystem.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, or related field.1–8 years of experience in AI/ML assurance, compliance auditing, digital trust, risk management, or quality systems.Knowledge of:
- ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894
- ISO 27001, ISO 9001
- EU AI Act, GDPR, OECD AI Principles, NIST AI RMF
- Experience in testing, inspection, certification, or assurance services preferred.
- Exposure to AI ethics, governance, and model validation is desirable.
