Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage international product compliance and certification processes in the Mysore region. This critical role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance across global markets, driving market access, and expanding our international presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product certification, regulatory frameworks, and a strategic mindset for global market expansion. Responsibilities ๐Ÿ”น Sales and Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities in product compliance and certification services across global markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies. Drive revenue growth by offering tailored compliance solutions for market-specific requirements. ๐Ÿ”น Product Compliance Management Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Legal, etc.) to ensure products meet international regulatory and compliance standards. Manage product certification processes, including documentation, testing, and approvals for markets like the US, EU, China, India, and others. Stay updated on global regulatory changes and advise stakeholders on compliance adjustments. ๐Ÿ”น Market Access Strategy Develop and execute strategies for product approvals in new markets while maintaining compliance in existing ones. Research and analyze compliance requirements (e.g., CE, FCC, UL, CCC, BIS, etc.) for specific regions. Liaise with third-party testing labs and certification bodies to streamline approval processes. ๐Ÿ”น Client Relationship Management Act as the primary contact for clients on international compliance inquiries and approvals. Provide regular updates on product approval statuses and resolve compliance-related issues promptly. Deliver exceptional customer service, aligning solutions with regulatory requirements. ๐Ÿ”น Team Collaboration and Leadership Train and mentor sales and technical teams on compliance requirements and market access processes. Ensure product designs align with certification standards by working closely with internal teams. Collaborate with marketing teams to highlight compliance and certification expertise as value-added services. ๐Ÿ”น Reporting and Documentation Prepare detailed reports on compliance approvals, market access activities, and sales performance. Maintain accurate records of regulatory requirements, certifications, and associated costs. Ensure timely submission of all regulatory documents and applications. Qualifications & Skills Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field; a Masterโ€™s degree is a plus. 3โ€“5 years of experience in international product compliance, regulatory approvals, or related roles; sales/business development experience is a strong advantage. Deep understanding of global certification standards like CE, FCC, UL, CCC, BIS, and market entry regulations across regions. Technical familiarity with products in electronics, medical devices, automotive, or consumer goods sectors. Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills with the ability to multitask and work independently. Results-oriented, adaptable in fast-paced environments, and proactive in solving compliance and regulatory challenges. Company Overview Markek International Certifications Pvt.
