Position Overview

Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Business Development

senior techno-commercial role


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Drive

    SI project business

    in alignment with IndiNatus’s strategic growth objectives.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage

    System Integrator, Channel Partners, and OEM customers

    across India.
  • Develop

    go-to-market plans

    for new products and solutions in collaboration with the R&D and Product teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with

    key decision-makers, consultants, and end-users

    in government and enterprise sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve

    monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. OEM & Project Business

  • Lead

    OEM business development

    for IndiNatus CCTV cameras and NVRs by identifying potential OEM partners and negotiating long-term agreements.
  • Drive

    project specification and design-in efforts

    with System Integrator and project consultants.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams to create

    customized product or firmware variants

    based on project needs.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure

    timely delivery and commercial alignment

    for OEM and SI projects.

3. Solution Design & Technical Coordination

  • Work closely with the

    R&D and Technical teams

    to translate customer requirements into workable hardware/software solutions.
  • Support

    per-sales activities

    including technical presentations, project design documentation, and bill-of-material preparation.
  • Provide market feedback to the

    product management team

    for new product development and roadmap enhancement.

4. Relationship Management & Market Intelligence

  • Develop long-term relationships with

    key government bodies, PSUs, Smart City mission partners, and security consultants

    .
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging technologies to maintain IndiNatus’s competitive edge.
  • Represent IndiNatus at

    industry events, trade shows, and technology summits.


Candidate Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Engineering

    or equivalent.
  • MBA in

    Sales, Marketing, or Business Strategy

    (preferred).

Experience:

  • 8–15 years

    of experience in

    CCTV, Surveillance, Security Electronics, or related OEM industry.

  • Proven track record in handling

    SI project sales, OEM business development, or government tender projects.

  • Strong network with

    System Integrator, Consultants, and Channel Partners

    in the security domain.
  • Experience in handling

    Make-in-India or STOIC-compliant product lines

    will be an advantage.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent techno-commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of

    video surveillance architecture (CCTV, NVR, networking, PoE, storage, etc.)

    .
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, production, and supply chain teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with leadership capabilities.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of OEM and project business revenue targets.
  • New SI / OEM partner acquisition and activation.
  • Contribution to new product design inputs and project specifications.
  • Customer retention and repeat business ratio.
  • Market share growth in assigned region or vertical.
