Job Title: Sr. Manager / AGM Business Development

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic individual to lead product management, drive sales, support commercialization, and lead new business initiatives in the specialty chemicals segment, particularly Agro and pharma intermediates. Experience in fluorochemicals is an advantage. The AGM will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration for product development and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Product Management

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of intermediates
  • Coordinate with R&D for lab and pilot trials
  • Ensure timely customer approval of samples from lab to pilot stages
  • Support commercialization through technical and strategic inputs

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive and achieve annual sales revenue target
  • Shortlist high-potential products for commercialization
  • Secure customer approvals and purchase orders
  • Ensure execution of sales orders and monitor delivery timelines
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for smooth rollout

3. Personal Development & Market Networking

  • Attend industry-relevant training programs or exhibitions
  • Enhance skills in communication, negotiation, and interpersonal interactions
  • Build and strengthen relationships in pharma and agrochemical sectors

4. New Product Development & Customer Onboarding

  • Identify and onboard customer from the industry
  • Support new product initiatives and explore untapped markets
  • Work closely with product development and marketing teams

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of chemical product lifecycle and commercialization
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Project management and strategic planning
  • Cross-functional collaboration and customer relationship management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/master's in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • MBA in Marketing/Business Development is a plus
