Position Overview:

Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete
Accounts Payable process
, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor payments.
Verify, reconcile, and process vendor invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure timely ledger reconciliation.
Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment queries, and ensure timely disbursement.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to payables.
Prepare periodic reports on payables status, aging analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
Coordinate with Procurement, Admin, and other departments for accurate invoice validation.
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Continuously work on process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.

Qualifications & Experience:

M.Com / B.Com / MBA in Finance or related field.
Minimum
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payables
in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in
ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Workday / Tally)
and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in
engineering consultancy / corporate finance
will be an advantage.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
