Job Description

Position Objectives

To appoint a dynamic and results-oriented leader to lead the Accounts Payable department, with the goal of strengthening the organization’s account payable / tax operation processes, Management reporting and cash flow management. The position is responsible to build and operate payable and tax operations processes with strong internal controls, enhancing cash utilisation efficiency, reducing financial risk, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to support sustainable business growth.

Ensuring Compliance of Income Tax Act, 1961 and GST Act, 2017 etc.


Indicative Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in accounts payable / provision, reconciliations, and payouts.
  • Automate and streamline AP / Tax processes using relevant tools
  • Collaborate with finance and other teams to meet the objective of the Company
  • Coordinate with auditors and external consultants during financial reviews
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, and internal control
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate AP staff performance
  • Ensure Income Tax and GST Compliance
  • Cash Management to ensure money is invested to earn maximum return
  • Prepare aging reports & other reports required by management.

  • Collaboration skills for effective working relationships with other supplier (technology) or client (commercial org) functions

Qualifications

MBA in Finance/ M COM with minimum 10+ years of experience primarily in AP/ Tax function
