Role Summary

We’re hiring a professional Accounts Manager to own end-to-end plant accounting, compliance, and cost control. You’ll lead day-to-day finance operations, strengthen internal controls, and deliver timely, accurate MIS for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Books & Close: Finalize monthly/quarterly/year-end financials under Indian GAAP; manage GL, AR, AP, bank and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Costing & Inventory: Maintain standard/BOM costing, WIP valuation, variance analysis (price/usage/yield), scrap reporting, and inventory controls (cycle counts, physical verification, slow/non-moving analysis).
• Compliance: Handle GST (e-invoicing, e-way bills, GSTR-1/3B/9), TDS/TCS returns, and coordinate statutory/internal audits; ensure timely filings and assessments.
• Treasury & Working Capital: Cash-flow forecasting, banking operations, LC/BG documentation, credit control, and collections discipline.
• MIS & Budgeting: Publish monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, plant dashboards, and cost-reduction trackers; support annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Fixed Assets & Capex: FAR maintenance, capitalization, depreciation, and project tracking.
• Process & Controls: Drive SOPs for P2P/O2C/R2R, 3-way match, approval matrices, and ERP data hygiene.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with auditors, bankers, suppliers, and customers; partner with Production, Purchase, Stores, and HR on cross-functional matters.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounts team, allocate work, and upskill staff on systems and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: BCom/M.Com/MBA (Finance). CA/CMA Inter preferred.
• Experience: 3–15 years of accounting experience in manufacturing (auto components preferred).
• Technical: Strong in Tally Prime/SAP/Oracle, advanced Excel (pivots, lookups), and GST/TDS portals.
• Domain Strength: Cost accounting, inventory valuation (FIFO/Weighted Avg), WIP, standard costing, and plant MIS.
• Nice to Have: Exposure to IATF/ISO audits, export-import documentation (BoE, shipping bills), LC/BG handling, and Power Query/Power BI.
