Job Description: The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and financial operations in a retail showroom environment, specializing in jewellery and sarees. This includes maintaining accurate records of sales, purchases, inventory, and expenses while ensuring compliance with taxation and financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain day-to-day financial transactions. Record sales invoices, purchase bills, expenses, and other accounting entries. Reconcile bank statements and showroom cash flow. Billing & Invoicing: Generate GST-compliant bills and invoices. Handle customer billing and returns. Inventory Management: Track stock movement of jewelry and sarees. Reconcile physical stock with accounting records periodically. Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST filings (monthly/quarterly). Assist in TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings. Cash & Banking: Manage petty cash and showroom collections. Deposit cash/cheques to bank and update ledger accordingly. Reports & Analysis: Prepare financial reports including daily sales, expense reports, and stock statements. Support management in budgeting and cost control. Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and auditors. Liaise with CA firms or tax consultants for compliance. Required Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, etc.). Strong knowledge of GST and retail accounting. Attention to detail with good numerical skills. Familiarity with retail operations and POS systems. Basic Excel and MS Office proficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in retail or showroom accounting preferred. Jewelry/Textile retail experience is a plus. Job Summary: The Sales Executive is responsible for attending to walk-in customers, showcasing jewellery and saree collections, closing sales at the counter, and ensuring an excellent in-store experience. The role involves product demonstration, understanding customer needs, and offering suitable recommendations, particularly in the bridal and festive segments. Key Responsibilities: Customer Handling: Greet customers at the counter and understand their purchase requirements. Show jewellery or sarees based on customer preferences, occasion, and budget. Educate customers about product details like material, purity, certification (jewellery), fabric type, and care (sarees). Assist with product trials (e.g., draping sarees, trying jewellery).
