Accountant

Position OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial insights to support decision-making. Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting Maintain accurate books of accounts (Purchase, Sales, Expenses, Assets, Liabilities). Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile bank statements. Handle accounts payable/receivable, ledgers, and journal entries. Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings. Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and government regulations. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Conduct variance analysis and prepare MIS reports for management review. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. Payroll & Vendor Management Manage salary processing, PF, ESI, and other employee-related statutory compliances. Maintain vendor accounts, process invoices, and reconcile balances. Internal Controls & Audit Implement and monitor internal financial controls. Support statutory, tax, and internal audits by providing required data. Identify areas for process improvement to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliance. Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, QuickBooks, or ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial data management. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under deadlines. Qualifications & ExperienceB.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter. 3–7 years of experience in end-to-end accounting and finance operations.
