Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic

Account Manager – Paid Media

to serve as the primary client partner, driving performance marketing success through data-backed strategies and measurable growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, proven client management experience, and a strategic mindset that connects media performance to real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, including founders, CMOs, and marketing heads.
  • Lead weekly performance review calls, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Align growth forecasts and media strategy with business objectives.
  • Manage client P&L for ad investments, balancing growth, efficiency, and scalability.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Oversee campaign performance across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Monitor key metrics such as CAC, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and payback period.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations based on data.
  • Create and present performance reports that communicate results clearly.

Scaling & Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with internal strategists to design and implement scaling roadmaps.
  • Recommend budget allocation, audience expansion, and funnel optimization strategies.
  • Audit creatives and landing pages to support sustainable growth.
  • Explore new platforms, testing opportunities, and automation for efficiency.

Execution Oversight & Team Coordination

  • Ensure smooth campaign execution across internal teams.
  • Translate strategy into actionable deliverables and ensure timely completion.
  • Review deliverables for quality before client submission.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on campaign management and communication.

Process & Systems Development

  • Build and refine SOPs, templates, and playbooks for reporting and campaign audits.
  • Maintain workflow consistency, data hygiene, and documentation quality.
  • Contribute to automation and dashboard initiatives for better visibility.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience in performance marketing or digital strategy (preferably agency-side).
  • Proven experience managing ₹50L–₹2Cr+ monthly ad spends.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — decisions rooted in data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience managing C-suite relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen — able to link ad metrics to revenue.
  • Prior experience mentoring small teams and improving internal workflows.

  • Strategic & Business Thinking: Ability to connect media metrics to business outcomes and align strategy with revenue goals.
  • Client Management Excellence: Skilled in handling senior stakeholders and translating performance data into actionable insights.
  • Analytical Mastery: Deep understanding of campaign analytics — adept at identifying optimization opportunities across CAC, ROAS, CTR, and CVR.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with AI or automation tools for campaign optimization and reporting.
  • Experience in D2C, SaaS, or healthcare sectors.
  • Proficiency with tools like Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Slack, and Asana/ClickUp.

Screening Guidelines

  • Exclude candidates with a background real estate marketing.
  • Candidates should come from mid-sized performance marketing agencies (100–700 employees).

Interview Process

  • 4–5 rounds including one in-office discussion and one assignment.
