Operating in the international education and student recruitment sector, we help Indian students achieve admissions to U.S. colleges and universities through high-touch counselling, application strategy, and visa guidance. Our team combines personalised advising with data-driven outreach to maximise student success and placement at competitive U.S. programs.We are hiring an on-site Admissions Counselor (USA-focused) based in India to join our growing recruitment team and drive end-to-end admissions outcomes for undergraduate and graduate hopefuls.Role & Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one counselling to prospective students on U.S. program selection, application strategy, timelines, and career fit.
- Manage the full admissions lifecycle: assess profiles, create application plans, review documents, provide essay feedback, and oversee timely submission.
- Qualify and convert inbound leads through phone or video consultations, personalised outreach, and pipeline follow-up to increase application conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate applicant records and pipeline metrics in the CRM and generate reports to track funnel health and counsellor performance.
- Plan and execute recruitment initiatives such as school visits, college fairs, webinars, and local events to build a consistent applicant pipeline.
- Coordinate with test-prep and visa advisory teams to ensure cohesive student support from application through post-admission follow-up.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in international student recruitment or university admissions counseling with demonstrable application conversions.
- Proficiency using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and experience maintaining accurate lead and applicant records.
- Working knowledge of U.S. admissions processes, application platforms (Common App) and familiarity with F-1 visa basics and SEVIS requirements.
- Strong written English for essay coaching and application document preparation; confident spoken English for client-facing calls.
- Ability to manage multiple applicants and competing deadlines with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with Slate or HubSpot CRM and event-driven recruitment campaigns (webinars, fairs).
- Background in test-advising or familiarity with IELTS/TOEFL and GRE/GMAT processes.
- Prior success building relationships with local schools, coaching centres, or university partners.
