Key Responsibilities


1. Sales & Revenue Delivery

  • Own and deliver

    zonal retail & wholesale targets

    (volume, revenue, market share).
  • Develop monthly & quarterly sales plans aligned with national sales strategy.
  • Drive primary billing, secondary sales, and retail throughput across states.
  • Track competitor activity and implement counterstrategies to protect and grow share.


2. Dealer Network Expansion & Management

  • Identify and onboard new dealers, sub-dealers, retail touchpoints across Tier 1–Tier 3 markets.
  • Ensure dealer infrastructure, manpower, tooling & branding meet company standards.
  • Improve dealer ROI through structured business planning and performance reviews.
  • Close network gaps and drive EV adoption in high-potential micro-markets.


3. Channel Operations & Compliance

  • Strengthen channel health by monitoring stock norms, ageing, and credit hygiene.
  • Drive retail marketing programs, test-ride campaigns, and local activations.
  • Ensure adherence to sales processes, DMS usage, and retail audit norms.


4. Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of Regional Managers / Area Sales Managers & field staff.
  • Set clear KRAs, review performance, provide coaching and capability building.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture.


5. Service & Customer Experience

  • Coordinate with Service Heads to ensure service readiness for new & existing dealers.
  • Improve customer satisfaction (NPS), TAT, and after-sales support quality.
  • Ensure availability of spares and monitor service KPIs for the zone.


6. Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Provide accurate zonal MIS, sales forecasts, and market insights.
  • Analyze EV penetration, policy changes, charging infra readiness and incentive landscape in northern states.
  • Recommend price actions, schemes, or interventions based on market dynamics.


Candidate Profile


Education

  • Graduate with MBA preferred (Sales/Marketing specialization is a plus).

Experience

  • 10–18 years

    in Sales & Network Management.
  • Proven ability to manage a large zone with multi-state operations.
  • Strong dealer management, channel development and team leadership experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen and P&L understanding.
  • Excellent negotiation, planning and execution ability.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-growing EV environment.
  • Relationship-driven, high ownership, and data-oriented decision making.
